Discover the joys of poetry with the T S Eliot Prize

Last week the T S Eliot Prize, the ‘world’s top poetry award’ (Louise Jury, the Independent), announced its 2015 shortlist. 10 fantastic poetry collections were chosen (authors shown above), and you can explore the whole list.

If your reading group enjoys poetry, we have a great opportunity for you. The T S Eliot Prize is holding a competition for groups to win one of the following prizes:

  • Up to 10 tickets for your reading group to attend the 2015 T S Eliot Prize Readings at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 10 January 2016
  • Two signed sets of the 10 shortlisted titles

All you need to do is discuss the poetry on the list, and decide who you want to win. Send a short write-up of your meeting to [email protected] by 17 December for your chance to win. More information is available on the Poetry Book Society website.

Get involved

There are lots of great resources to support your group’s discussions on the Poetry Book Society website, including example poems, reading group notes, and biographies of the featured poets.
