Reading resolutions for 2015

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has set himself the challenge to read one book a fortnight this year.

Zuckerberg announced his new year’s resolution on his Facebook page and has set himself the task with a view to learn about different beliefs and cultures. He’s encouraging others to join him and has created a book club page to enable people to take part.

This got us thinking about our plans for 2015. Here are some of the resolutions that Reading Agency staff have for this year:

  • Read more books written by women – Robert Sommerlad
  • “I read a lot of fiction and would like to read more nonfiction" – Karen Mcpherson
  • Share books with my niece – Kate Caldwell
  • To not buy anymore new books and read ones that I already own.” Samantha Cox
  • To start reading poetry- Sharon Hardwick

We’d like to hear about your plans for reading in 2015 log in and leave a comment below to let us know
