Write Now

Are you the next Malorie Blackman?

Or Dudley’s answer to James Patterson?

Are you writing the epic love story, featuring Romeo and Julian?

If so, Penguin Random House would love to meet you.

WriteNow wants to find, mentor and publish new writers with different stories to tell. Writers from communities under-represented on the nation’s bookshelves.

This includes writers from a socio-economically marginalised background, writers with a disability, or who come from LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer) or BAME (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic) communities.

Join published authors, literary agents and editors in central Birmingham on Saturday 26 November, or central Manchester on 4 February 2017.

Visit www.write-now.live to find out more and apply.

Watch Kit de Waal talking about why we need to have more diverse voices in books:

Are you a librarian?

We’re bringing materials promoting Write Now to libraries across the country! Keep an eye on our shop for materials promoting applications to take part in the Birmingham and Manchester Insight Days.
