How much does a cover, author name or title influence your judgement of a novel?

This summer Hodder & Stoughton are challenging reading groups to put aside any preconceptions they may have for a cover, title or author and to just enjoy the novel in its purest form.

We are looking for 25 suitably curious reading groups who are up for the challenge of reading a novel, completely blind.

Not until your reading group meeting, after your discussion will the author’s identity and the novel be revealed.

Each reading group member will be asked to fill out and return a postcard with your feedback by 30 September.

As an extra treat, your group will also receive some secret further reading to whet your appetite for one of the biggest books coming this November!

To enter, simply login and fill in our short survey by 1 July.
